Scholarship Opportunity

Purpose
The purpose of the Moving Muscles Scholarship is to help provide financial assistance to young adults in pursuit of post secondary education, training or those who are already enrolled and continuing their studies.

Eligibility
Eligible candidates must be a registered client of Muscular Dystrophy Canada between the ages of 17 and 27. Recipients must be a resident of one of the following regions: British Columbia; Alberta; or Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. Prior recipients of the scholarship may reapply for funding.

Use of the scholarship
The scholarship will be awarded to a student for payment of their tuition, textbooks and other school expenses needed to guarantee success including transport and attendant care.
